An indie RPG with roots in a number of well-known games - Chrono Trigger, Super Mario RPG, and Illusion of Gaia, to name just a few - Sea of Stars is an adventure for fans of the SNES era. Following a plucky little band of travelers as they explore a colorful, dangerous fantasy world, Sea of Stars blends old-school mechanics with a strong dash of new-school ideas. The result should please anyone with even a passing interest in RPGs.
Sea of Stars is a prequel to The Messenger, a very different kind of game. You don't need to play The Messenger to enjoy Sea of Stars. (Though you should! It's a solid platformer.)
