Main Walkthrough

Article is under heavy, ongoing construction.

Another of Paldea's verdant, coastal areas, East Province (Area Two) is very similar to its neighbor, East Province (Area One), albeit filled with higher-level, tougher Pokémon and Pokémon Trainers. If you plan on making a trip to Levincia - which is a must for completing the Victory Road Treasure Hunt - you'll almost certainly wind up traveling through East Province (Area Two).

To reach East Province (Area Two) you'll generally come through the adjoining area, East Province (Area One). You can reach Area Two by road (though you'll need to wipe out a Team Star Base), by the eastern beaches and shallows, or by dashing and leaping across the river that separates the two areas with your mount.

Areas of Interest
  • North of the Pokémon Center is another grassy stretch of land with some ruins. You can reach it by dash jumping across the shallows near the Pokémon Center on your mount.
  • Just outside Levincia is a beach. There are a number of Pokémon here that you won't find elsewhere on the route.
  • Despite how it looks, there's more of East Province (Area Two) on the north side of Levincia, once you take a stroll through the city. Once you reach the end of the grass, though, you also reach the end of the route, and that doesn't take long. In this area you'll find a lighthouse overlooking the sea.
Items and NPCs of Note
  • Right beside the Pokémon Center on the west side of the area is a tree. TM 138 Psychic Terrain is sitting at the base of the tree. Directly east of the Pokémon Center - after a bit of a trek, anyway - is a Fire Stone, also near a tree.
  • There's a narrow cliff overlooking the bridge into Levincia. TM 075 Light Screen is sitting on the tip of the cliff.
  • TM 091 Toxic Spikes is sitting in the ruins to the north of the Pokémon Center. Sitting beside a rock to the northeast of the ruins is a Rare Bone.
  • North of the area's upper grassy section is a small island, in the river separating East Province (Area Two) from East Province (Area Three). You'll find TM 073 Drain Punch on this island.
  • At the east end of the upper grassy field, more or less overlooking Levincia, is TM 035 Mud Shot. It's sitting beside a rock. Follow the edge of the cliff and you'll find a Rare Candy.
  • At the northwest corner of the beach outside Levincia is some Stardust.
  • The Pokémon Center on the south end of Levincia has a Pokémon League rep who wants you to beat six trainers. He'll give you TM 084 Stomping Tantrum if you're successful in this task.
  • At the top of the lighthouse on the north side of Levincia you'll find TM 034 Icy Wind.

Trainers

Beatriz the Student
  • Alomomola, level 20
Location: Along the road to the east of the Pokémon Center
Reward: 1,040 P

Alomomola has impressive bulk, but it can't do much damage. Any Water-type counter should do it in quickly.

Cabbie Omar
  • Varoom, level 20
Location: Along the road to the east of the Pokémon Center
Reward: 1,840 P

Varoom is a Steel- and Poison-type Pokémon that is just begging to be hit by a Ground-type move.

Backpacker Arturo
  • Sandile, level 21
Location: Along the road to the east of the Pokémon Center
Reward: 1,260 P

Sandile is a Dark- and Ground-type. Not a big deal. You have lots of options for taking it down.

Lina the Student
  • Cubchoo, level 21
Location: South of the main path as
Reward: 672 P

A straight Ice-type. Fire-, Rock-, Steel-, and Fighting-type moves all work.

Backpacker Jonathan
  • Deerling, level 22
  • Stantler, level 22
Location: Larger beach just outside Levincia
Reward: 1,320 P

A pair of ungulates. Fighting-type moves work well on both.

Anas the Student
  • Lokix, level 26
  • Rufflet, level 26
Location: Larger beach just outside Levincia
Reward: 4,160 P

A bit of a toughie. Lokix will likely use U-Turn and disappear after the first turn, leaving you to deal with Rufflet. Neither are exceptionally tough, and a Rock-type Pokémon will make short work of them.

Cristian the Office Worker
  • Klefki, level 22
Location: On the road just south of Levincia
Reward: 2,024 P

A Steel- and Fairy-type Pokémon, Klefki is weak to Fire- and Ground-types. It can't do a ton of damage, fortunately.

Rosario the Student
  • Oricorio, level 24
  • Houndoom, level 24
Location: On the cliffs overlooking Levincia, on the northern section of the route
Reward: 1,728 P

Oricorio is a fairly typical Flying-type, while Houndoom is a much-more-powerful Dark- and Fire-type. Both are vulnerable to Rock-type moves.
