Main Walkthrough

Prerequisites: Max out Laura's level 2 friendship

Reward: Two Berry Pancakes

Unlocks: Laura level 3 friendship

The youngest member of the Farmhouse has always seemed keen to befriend you, so you might as well oblige. Raising Laura to the next level of friendship is as challenging as the first time, since she wanders Moonbury a lot and doesn't have a predictable location besides her home. If you can't find Laura at the Farmhouse then it's time for your dog to go looking for her.

Befriend Laura sufficiently and she'll post a notice on the Bulletin Boards of Moonbury. She needs someone who is good at making pottery. Laura will meet whomever is willing at the park just south of the Willow Waters Bathhouse, between 8:00 and 15:00 on any day of the week.

When you show up you'll find Laura in a bit of a state. She explains to Martha, who beats you to the scene, that her mom and dad got into a fight, and a nearby vase was broken in the process. Laura doesn't know what to do about the fight, but she can, at least, look for someone to repair the vase.

Take the Broken Vase to Reyner. He spends much of his days at the Bulk and Build, his business and home, on the west side of Moonbury. Reyner can fix the vase, but, of course, he needs some materials before he can set to work. You'll need access to Glaze Iceberg at a minimum before you can complete this quest. The materials Reyner needs are as follows:
  • Five Sweet-Tasting Saps. Sweet-Tasting Sap drops from the dark green trees in Glaze Iceberg, and from the skinnier trees in Barren Wasteland.
  • Ten Sour-Tasting Saps. Sour-Tasting Sap drops from the red trees in Meadow Range, though you'll have a quicker time cutting down the amber-colored trees in Glaze Iceberg.

Take everything to Reyner and he'll give you a Repaired Vase. Return the vase to Laura and she'll have a heart-to-heart with her parents. The fight will clear up, and your relationship with Laura will jump up to the third level.
