Main Walkthrough

A sprawling, urban city in the heart of the Brightlands, New Delsta hides a great deal of grime beneath its polished exterior. The starting place for Throné's storyline, New Delsta will have you exploring the streets for three chapters of the game, as well as a number of Side Stories. You're going to see New Delsta a bunch, in other words, so you might as well exploit the city for all its worth.

New Delsta is located in roughly the center of the Brightlands, though you won't gain access to the areas to the south of the city until you've reached the end of Throné's storyline. Geographically Temenos is the closest to the city, if you're looking to recruit Throné, though it doesn't take Castti and Ochette long to get here either.

Exits

  • In the east of New Delsta you'll find the exit to the Eastern New Delsta Highroad. You can pick up the Inventor Job very early by traveling here.
  • In the northeast of New Delsta you'll find Diamante's Estate, which serves as the final dungeon of Throné's first chapter.
  • In the southwest of New Delsta you'll find a ladder down to the Underground Waterway, which also plays a role in Throné's first chapter. This tiny dungeon will later lead you to the areas south of New Delsta.
  • In the northwest of New Delsta you'll find the Theater, which becomes a dungeon in Agnea's second chapter as you make your way deeper inside.

Services

Unsurprisingly, given its size, New Delsta offers the full array of services, including an Inn on the main street, a Tavern up the first set of stairs from the city's entrance, and an Armorer and Provisioner on the northnound street that's further to the west. In the Backstreets you'll also find a second Tavern that serves as a setting for part of Agnea's chapter in New Delsta.

Treasure

  • Look down the road to the east of New Delsta's Tavern. There's a chest here containing an Energizing Pomegranate.
  • In the southwest of New Delsta is a side street where you'll find the entrance to the Underground Waterway. The chest atop the building to the right of the ladder contains a Healing Grape.
  • In roughly the center of the Backstreets is a Guard standing in front of a brothel. Get him out of the way and inside the building you'll find a chest containing a Dagger.
  • In the northwest of the Backstreets, in an alley next to the Tavern, you'll find a chest containing an Inspiriting Plum.
  • West of the Game Parlor's front gate is a dock. You can use it to canoe around the Game Parlor to the east, where you'll find a chest containing a Critical Nut.
  • On the east side of the Game Parlor you'll find a Safe Keeper guarding three chests. Knock him out to get at the chests, which contain 40,000 leaves, a Physical Belt, and a Forbidden Dagger.
