Main Walkthrough

Prerequisites: Max out Forrest's level 2 friendship

Reward: 325 G

Unlocks: Forrest level 3 friendship

Forrest remains a very easy character to track down if you plan on pursuing the second quest in his storyline. Like Bubble, Forrest largely moves back and forth between two locations: The Ranger Post, south of Moonbury Town, and his house, which is south of the Ranger Post. He sometimes moves elsewhere in the evening, but the rest of the day Forrest will be in one of these two locations.

Max out the second level of your relationship with Forrest and he'll pin a notice up on the Bulletin Boards around town. Apparently something urgent has come up, and he needs someone to meet him by the Coach House, between 7:00 and 18:00 on any day of the week. You can find the Coach House a short walk east of the Police Department, to the south of your home.

You'll arrive to find Lucke and Forrest in a pickle. One of the Coach House's horses has gone missing, and they need help to track her down. After a bit of debate you suggest using bait to draw the horse out. Apparently she likes Winter Carrots, a crop that only grows in Glaze Iceberg. There are five for you to uproot, spread throughout the region:
  • One is along the path to the Cold Blooms that grow east of the cable car
  • Another grows among the Orchids a short walk northeast of the cable car
  • The third grows a short walk southwest of the North of Glaze Iceberg Fast Travel point
  • The last two grow in the large clearing south of the North of Glaze Iceberg Fast Travel point, one to the northeast and the other along the water in the southwest

Take the carrots back to Forrest. Lucke, Forrest, and you will lay out the bait, allowing you to recapture the horse and bring her home. Excellent. This will end the quest and improve your relationship with Forrest.
