The youngest member of the Farmhouse, Moonbury's primary food supplier, Laura can be a bit tough to track down. Like every other character that doesn't work she floats throughout Moonbury, and the only place you'll reliably find her each day is in or around the Farmhouse. You'll probably need to employ your dog to track her down unless you're looking early in the day.
Once you've maxed out Laura's friendship meter she'll put up a notice on the Bulletin Boards asking for people to join in a game of hide-and-seek. She invites anyone interested to join her at Moonbury Park, from 9:00 to 14:00, Monday to Saturday. You'll trigger the cut scene by entering the park through the northern gate.
Upon entering Moonbury Park you'll see Laura and Russo playing hide-and-seek, and it appears that Laura is a poor loser. Russo takes off, and Laura, determined to outwit her rival, asks you for something to make her disappear. You'll need to do some more investigating first. At this point it appears as though the quest has been left hanging, but you're on the right track.
Head home and go to sleep. The next day you'll be told to go outside your house between 8:00 and 17:00. Hang around the entrance and the cut scene will trigger promptly at 8:00, giving Laura the hide-and-seek win she so desperately wanted. The quest will end, and your relationship with her will jump to the second level. Continue to befriend Laura and you'll unlock the next quest in her storyline, Family Matters.
