Another of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2's post-game areas, Route 2 is a short jaunt through the wilderness with a fair amount packed into it. There are five trainers jammed into the Route, and unlike a lot of previous battlers each one here has a minimum of four Pokémon, with most having six. Be ready for a scrap, as you can't avoid one while trekking through this Route. (Fortunately, you can always backtrack to Striaton City for a quick pick-me-up. It's very close.)

South of the entrance you'll see your first trainer prowling back and forth. If you walk west of him you'll find a tree you can use Cut to find a small clearing with a trainer. South of her is a Carbos, and if you check the trees west of her you'll find a PP Max. Both trainers specialize in Bug-types, so if you deploy a Flying-, Fire-, or Rock-type you'll have a field day mowing them all down.

Look to the east of Mikey. There's a set of stairs onto a raised stretch of ground where a young woman is waiting. She wants to see a Pokémon with the Solid Rock Ability. Camerupt, Rhyperior, Tirtouga, and Carracosta all fall into this category. Present her one and she'll give you a Dawn Stone. South of her you'll find a Repeat Ball and a Full Heal.

Head back to Mikey. The path splits to the south of him. Go right and you'll wind up in grass, where you'll find another trainer and an Ultra Ball. Go left and you'll hop down two ledges to a stronger trainer. Between the two ledges is a hidden Max Revive.

Beside her is a Hidden Grotto, hidden in the trees. South of the trainer is a ledge you can use to evade some grass and another trainer to the left, though you'll miss out on a Max Revive. Regardless of the path you take you'll find a Calcium in the south, beyond a boulder you can push out of your way with Strength.

Head through the gate to the east of the boulder and you'll find yourself in Accumula Town.

Accumula Town

Accumula Town was not particularly important in Pokémon Black and White, and that's still true in the sequel games. Still, there are a few things of note to find in this little town:
  • A man on the second floor of the building closest to the Route 2 exit will give you a fistful of Poké Balls. Very useful. A woman on this floor will quiz you on the stats of your starter, and if you guess correctly she'll give you a Gem. Which Gem you get depends on the starter.
  • A man on the second floor of the next building over will give you a BalmMushroom.
  • Up the stairs next to these two buildings is a girl who wants to see a Pokémon that's 17 ft in size or larger. Show her one and she'll give you a Fluffy Tail. You can receive a Fluffy Tail once a day.
  • Also up the stairs is a house populated by a pair of musicians. The girl at the piano wants to see a Kricketot and a Whismur. Show her both and she'll give you a Metronome.
  • There's a tiny park in the middle of Accumula Town. Check the trash can for a Max Repel.
  • Down the stairs from the park you'll find a boy who wants to see a Pokémon that's eight inches or less in size. Show him one for a Poké Doll. You can do this once per day.
  • Near the boy who wants to see tiny Pokémon is a two-story building. A young woman on the ground floor will trade you an Ambipom for an Excadrill. If you agree to the trade she'll next offer an Alakazam in exchange for a Hippowdon.
Aaaaand that's for Accumula Town. You're very close to the tiny town where Generation V began, with just one Route separating you from the finish line.
