Another modern edition to Star Ocean The Second Story R, Unique Spots give you an excuse to go sightseeing. Appearing throughout the game as notable landmarks, Unique Spots can be observed by approaching any nearby, yellow points of light. Inspecting a Unique Spot will earn you a closer look, a description of the site, some experience, and a few items. They're worth finding, and usually not far off the beaten path.
This guide will lead you to all of the Unique Spots in Star Ocean The Second Story R. For the most part you'll discover these as you make your way through the storyline, though a few of them will require some exploration. You can view the Unique Spots you've already located - and clues to the ones you haven't - in the Database submenu.
Quick Note: In the Database the Unique Spots are listed by number. I've divided this listing up by world - Expel and Energy Nede, in other words - and for the most part the numbers are also divided into the two worlds. The one exception is number 20, 'Sunlight on the Snow', which is included among the Expel Unique Spots but is located on Energy Nede. I have a feeling that this is an error they will fix some day, so I've thrown it down with the rest of Energy Nede's Unique Spots.
