If you want to continue your relationship with Ottmar you'll need to build up his friendship bar again, and it works the same way the second time as it does the first. Ottmar has a tendency to hang out on the beach with Leano, either working on the Primerose Sail or at his Cafe, and doesn't head into town all that often. Occasionally you'll see him at the Hearts and Sparks Shop, and in the evenings he'll go to the Cafe, but your best chance is always going to be the beach in the northwest of Moonbury Town.
Once you've maxed out the second level of your relationship with Ottmar a notice will appear on the Bulletin Boards directing you to the Bulk and Build, on the southwest side of Moonbury. The Bulk and Build is open from 8:00 to 15:00, every day but Tuesday. Head inside and you'll learn that Ottmar wants to repair Leano's ship, and Reyner, the owner of the Bulk and Build, needs extra materials to get the job done.
The materials need to complete this quest require a trip to Barren Wasteland, so you'll have to complete the quest A Plumbing Problem, as well as repair the bridge to Barren Wasteland. You'll need to collect the following materials to complete this quest:
- Fifteen Savoury-Tasting Saps. To get these items you'll need to chop down the larger, thicker trees in Barren Wasteland. There aren't enough for a single trip, so be ready for this quest to take a few days if you haven't already been collecting Savoury-Tasting Sap.
- Ten Sweet-Tasting Saps. Though you can get these from the dark-green trees in Glaze Iceberg, your primary source will be the smaller trees dotting the Barren Wasteland.
Take the items you've collected back to Reyner. He usually hangs out around the Bulk and Build. He'll fix up the Primerose Sail for Leano, giving it a nice, lasting look. You'll also boost your relationship with Ottmar, as he's grateful for your help.
