Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire owned by Nintendo. Images used for educational purposes only. |
Once you acquire the National Dex in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, which you'll unlock via Professor Birch once you deal with Groudon / Kyogre, pokemon from outside Hoenn will begin appearing on virtually every Route in the game. That said, they'll only appear via the DexNav - in other words, sneaking up on tails that are protruding out of the landscape. These will appear in conjunction with the tails of the Route's normal pokemon, so it may take a while for you to see every pokemon available on a Route.
As far as I can tell, the rarity of these pokemon does not vary. They're all equally annoying to force out of the grass / dirt / water, regardless of their species. Expect to see Route regulars far more often than foreign pokemon.
(In progress. Obvs.)

Skrelp is exclusive to Omega Ruby, while Clauncher is exclusive to Alpha Sapphire.
ReplyDeleteClauncher can be found on route 105, 106, 107, 108 and 109.
Also, in AS Sawk can be found in route 112 with the dexnav. In OR it is Throh, in the same route.
These are the only other pokemon that differ, in the dexnav, depending on the game.
Thanks for the info. Already had Sawk / Throh, but not about Skrelp / Clauncher. Makes sense. I'll edit in the changes.
ReplyDeletewish you added an updated safari zone section for the dexnav, but thank you for all the effort you have done !!
ReplyDeleteThe ones listed above are the only DexNav pokemon you get there, as far as I know. Doesn't matter which area you search. The Safari Zone kinda got shafted in this version of the game.
Deletewobbuffet is also in the safari zone
ReplyDeletealso found the giraffe one and heracross in the safari zone
ReplyDeleteAll three of those pokemon are in the Hoenn Pokedex. This post is about the National Pokedex, so it makes sense they aren't included here.
ReplyDeleteThey weren't listed in the safari zone part of the walk through, so I thought it would be nice to let others know what I found after I got the national dex. No need to be snippy about it, just trying to help out.
