Fallout 4 Walkthrough: Achievements / Trophies Guide

  • Ad Victoriam - Complete the Ad Victoriam quest. This requires siding with the Brotherhood of Steel.
  • Animal Control - Kill three hundred creatures. Basically anything that’s not human. I believe this includes Ghouls, but I’m not positive.
  • Armed and Dangerous - Create fifty weapon mods. You can do so at Weapons Workbenches.
  • Benevolent Leader - Reach maximum happiness (100) in a full-sized settlement (20 settlers). This requires fending off attacks when called, completing quests for the settlers, and providing them with plenty of food, shelter, defence, and creature comforts.
  • Blind Betrayal - Complete the Blind Betrayal Brotherhood of Steel quest. This quest may result in losing Paladin Danse as a companion, depending on your choices.
  • Born Survivor - Reach level five.
  • Commonwealth Citizen - Reach level ten.
  • Community Organizer - Ally yourself with three different settlements. To do this you must help the Minutemen and be on speaking terms with Preston Garvey. He’ll start handing out these quests to you.
  • Dangerous Minds - Complete the Dangerous Minds quest, part of the main quest line.
  • Fix-Er-Upper - Build one hundred Workshop items for settlements while in Build Mode. So long as you work on a single settlement you should easily get this done.
  • Future Retro - Play a Holotape game. You’ll find games in issues of RobCo Fun; there’s one such magazine in Vault 111, where you begin the game.
  • Gun-For-Hire - Complete ten side quests. Anything that doesn’t progress the main plot will achieve this.
  • Homerun! - Run the bases of Diamond City. You’ll find home plate just outside Publick Occurrences, in the south of the city; from there all you need to do is follow the wooden walkway to the northeast, and follow it around the market and back to Publick Occurrences. Bases will mark your way.
  • Hunter / Hunted - Complete Hunter / Hunted, part of the main quest line.
  • Institutionalized - Complete Institutionalized in the Institute quest line.
  • Legend of the Wastes - Reach level fifty.
  • Lovable - Reach maximum affection with one of your companions. You don’t need to romance said companion to get the achievement. You can’t get this with Dogmeat, so don’t bother trying. He always loves you.
  • Mankind - Redefined - Complete the Mankind - Redefined quest in the institute quest line.
  • Masshole - Kill three hundred humans.
  • Mercenary - Complete five miscellaneous objectives. These appear under the ‘Miscellaneous’ quest category in your quest list.
  • Never Go It Alone - Recruit five companions. You can get five companions (Dogmeat, Codsworth, Preston, Piper, and Nick) just by following the main storyline, south from Sanctuary and into Diamond City.
  • Nuclear Family - Complete Nuclear Family, the final story-based quest in the Institute quest line.
  • Old Guns - Complete Old Guns, part of the Minutemen quest line.
  • Platinum Trophy - Collect every other trophy. PS4 only.
  • Powering Up - Complete Powering Up in the Institute quest line.
  • Prepared for the Future - Choose one of the four factions (Minutemen, Brotherhood of Steel, Railroad, or Institute) and complete its final mission. Three out of four times, this will be The Nuclear Option; for the Institute it will be Nuclear Family.
  • Print’s Not Dead - Collect twenty magazines. They’re all over the place; just keep checking tables.
  • Ranger Corps - Discover one hundred different locations. Even the main quest on its own should fulfil this requirement.
  • Reunions - Complete Reunions, part of the main quest line.
  • Rockets’ Red Glare - Complete the Rockets’ Red Glare quest. This is part of the Railroad quest line.
  • Sanctuary - Complete the Sanctuary quest, part of the Minutemen quest line.
  • Scavver - Gather one thousand resources used in crafting. This includes breaking down junk items you’ve found or Scrapping settlement items and objects.
  • Semper Invicta - Complete Shadow of Steel and join the Brotherhood of Steel. The Prydwen needs to arrive in the Commonwealth for this to happen.
  • Taking Independence - Complete Taking Independence, part of the Minutemen quest line.
  • The First Step - Complete The First Step and join the Minutemen.
  • The Molecular Level - Complete The Molecular Level, part of the main quest line.
  • The Nuclear Option - Complete The Nuclear Option, part of multiple different faction quest lines (all but the Institute).

You can encounter Super Behemoths in a few places, including the woods near Sunshine Tidings Co-Op, at Boston Common, near Fort Strong, and at a power station west of Natick Banks. Mirelurk Queens appear in the far north of the Commonwealth, in the swampy lands surrounding Murkwater Construction Site, on Spectacle Island and in the waters around the Castle.
  • … They’re Action Figures - Collect twenty Vault-Tec Bobbleheads.
  • They’re Not Dolls… - Collect ten Vault-Tech Bobbleheads.
